Each Summit brings together hundreds of birth equity leaders, policy and government officials, public health professionals, philanthropists, clinicians, midwives, birthworkers, researchers, and advocates to raise awareness, build capacity, deepen collaboration, and highlight sustainable strategies to support healthy and thriving Black families. Demystifying the Medi-Cal Doula Benefit: Enrollment, Updates & Impact

Dr. Sayida will present a workshop that will provide a comprehensive overview of the Medi-Cal Doula benefit co-design process, as well as the eligibility, enrollment, and application process. She will discuss challenges and successes in implementation, as well as strategies for doulas and doula groups to navigate the system effectively.
